Checked a few cards this morning. Two bucks I had on cams last year are back. I passed the 8 pt last year. Don’t think either one would get a pass this year. The 10 disappeared during rut last year. He was an even frame then but possibly was injured causing his right to be stunted a bit.

Yes, season is just starting to heat up. I'm fairly positive I will chip in at least 50, and if the right buck walks by I'll be good for a minimum of 120+. If I get my #1 target buck that I know is out there you can count me for 180+. I do kinda like the area is being undisturbed this season and I'll be popping in there November 12th, right when the big boys are roaming around looking for action.

Decided to take the smoke pole tomorrow. I have plenty of targets here in Ohio. Don’t want a buck holding up out side of bow range. I figure the sooner I fill my OK tag the sooner I can get back home.

I bought the Montan decoy buck and doe combo this past off season. Going to try decoying for the first time at some point this season.

I use the Montana Fawnzy early season. It's a predator decoy, but I've had good luck drawing in does that would have normally hung up out of range.

Unlike Shocker, my vacation was approved for Nov 2-8. I just have that one shooter on cam, so I'm banking on a random buck to come walking my way.

Anyone see deer moving lately. I am about tired of the wind blowing 20 mph.

I was I could say I spent the last two days using sick leave to hunt. Unfortunately, I have been home sick with an upper respiratory infection, currently on steroids for it. Kept the youngest home yesterday, and now the oldest has it. Taking him to the doctor this afternoon. So sick of our kids being sick.
