Im going to probably take off a day or 2 around Halloween. Gonna start hitting some good public spots and leave private spots alone till late season. Trying to talk to farmer to sell us an acre of soybeans
Geez pulled my bow out to shoot it and my frigging sight IS loose. Not saying that caused my botched shot debacle on the doe (that was operator error) but this was still an oh crap find. Pulled my whole sight apart and put back together with blue loc tite on every bolt. sheesh! Glad i found when i did.
I had to do the same thing after my hunt a couple of weeks ago. It sucks, but better to fix it now than to have the problem in November.
Cold shots from 40 tonight after work. First time I have shot that far since my sight came loose a couple of weeks ago.
Had our first definite mature buck show up yesterday. Was a good wind for the stand he walked by, but it's a weekday, and my truck is getting some work done right now so the wife and I only have 1 car available so I can't leave work to hunt in the evenings...That buck got very lucky yesterday...
Dad took out the big 9 last night at his home farm. 5yr old that we’ve had on cams for at least 3 years. With the cold front that came through he had every buck that he knows of in the field yesterday. 13 bucks and 12 does feeding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Who's all hunting this weekend? I've been pretty much going crazy looking at the temperatures back in Ohio and not being able to hunt for 4 more weeks. Have to live through you guys right now. Good luck this weekend!!!!!
