Bingo! Should have 50pts on the ground. Big doe gave me a 21 yd shot. Looked like I took her heart out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hopefully i can add to that. I posted in the live from the stand. Long story short i had a decent doe come in with a yearling. When i drew my string rubbed on my bino harness and i think unlatched it. She calmed down and i let one go at 25 yds. I heard the pop you wanna hear but she didnt act like it was a good shot. She ran off at about 75 yds and stomped and blew and stomped and blew but. Her tail was down and flicking like she was hurt. She jogged off blowing. Gonna give it time.
And so it begins! Blood has been spilled! 59 points on the board and possibly more! Great job guys!!!!!
Geez messed up story. I need to go shoot bow. Confirmed flesh wound on first doe. Notice i said “first”. . Ran into her milling around in a back field. Flap of skin hanging down. Meat and hair on arrow. She will be ok. So on my way back to my stand i see a yearling feeding in some oaks. Belly crawled to within 30 yds and boom.
69.2 lbs. not bad for a yearling. Shes skinned and in the cooler. Ill post on scorecard soon as i get home. 100 pts isonly the beginning for this team
Yes she was a big girl, have no idea though. With the temps rising I had to get home from our lease quick enough to get her cooled down. If I had to guess, 100-110 dressed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats, guys! I was scrolling the scorecard and had to do a double take when a post said Team 10...then there was another. Good job gents!
Way to go fellas! I left work a little early on Friday and went in after that 10 pointer. Setup in the saddle where I thought he would come out. Then at like 6:15, I get a notification from my cell cam that's about 120 yds away, and he was going the opposite way... Saturday morning I set a "silent" alarm on my phone by accident. So I ended up accidentally sleeping in on a great morning... Didn't see anything Saturday evening of Sunday morning. Low and behold, that 10 showed up on the cell cam at 8am Sunday morning when I was hunting a different property. So the wife and I went out there yesterday evening and he never showed. This is about as close to a "cat and mouse" game I've ever had with a deer. And I'll be back at it later this week.
Cat and mouse game is what makes it fun! When you close the chapter on him it will feel great. Good luck Brad!
Yes, enjoy the chase. By the way it looks you'll have a pretty good chance at laying the smack down on him. Just a matter of being in the right place at the right time!
