We're getting pounded with rain right now so I may have a chance to hunt after this system rolls through Thursday night. Typically don't hunt morning for a while but might give it a shot Saturday morning. This is really going to mess up our soybean harvest though. We're at about 1.5 inches so far and expecting up to 3 more by the end. I sure pray that doesn't happen. Duck/goose opens back up Saturday too so might do that instead depending on temps/wind.
I’ll hunt acorns and water in the morning and then move to field edges in the evening whenever possible Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We're at 4 inches already and supposed to rain the rest of the day... My radish plot will but under water and my bale blind too more than likely by the end of this.. Going to have to try to get down there and possibly get it moved or at least get some railroad ties underneath it to help it get off the ground at least a little bit. Damn...
Were up to 5in and plan on getting alot more. Since my spot is along a river I'm very glad I didn't plant a food plot this year. Might need to save some trail cams though :S
Went out for a few hours this morning for the first sit of the season, nadda.. Definitely deer in the area as their trail crossing the brook below my stand is muddied right up.. Back out Saturday morning.
Well saved the camera and elevated the blind with all I could get down there with all the mud. At this point the creek was about 10 feet away. Supposed to be 25. Another 1"+ after all of this. Little nervous to check at the end of the weekend.. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I will if conditions are right. Where I have permission to hunt it mostly field and stand a big chance of blowing them out.
Haven't had a chance to get out yet but oversewed the plots. The rain we got from Florence drowned out parts of them so just dropped more seed to fill it in.
Less than 6 days for Ohio boys to be getting in the stand. Weather looking great for opening weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Finally made it back out tonight but what was supposed to be a passing storm became a pretty decent thunderstorm so that was a bust. Had a tornado touch down north of us. May be able to get out again this weekend. Were finally down into the 80s Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
