I hunt 15 minutes from typically. The full time job plus farming for the in-laws is pretty good at keeping me out of the woods
The land we hunt is about 5 minutes away on ground a cousin owns. And my job is only 10 minutes north of that, so I’m pretty close no matter what. Used to work an hour away, so it was a lot harder to get out after work.

Luckily I can hunt right from my house, and have a monster buck that I’ve been chasing the last 3 years but I have yet to even see him let along get a shot at him. We don’t have the deer population here in Maine like a lot of other states have. I’ll try to get some pics uploaded very shortly. Our bear season starts a week from this coming Monday, and our baits are getting absolutely pounded. Looking forward to that! Anyone do any filming?
Im going to try my hand at filming again this year, but I need a different camera. I can’t use a LANC remote with the one I have now.
