Hey Dunn, have you put your buck on the Official Scorecard yet? I'm just curious about your score.

Yeah I was just looking at that. It has been a busy last week or so, I'll have it on there this weekend when I finally officially score it. We would easily be in 3rd given my buck, but even with that we still are only 1/2 way to last years score!

Thanks team for all the "thanks", I probably should of held off a little longer as things are really heating up in my neck of the woods... As a matter of fact had a giant step out exactly one hour to the min. in the exact same spot I shot my buck. Of course, I premature trigger pulled and let an arrow fly on the first buck to walk by... In all my years of hunting whitetails I should have known to be more patient. But, I am proud of my buck nonetheless, and Im proud to be part of this team. I hope we can all pull this thing together and take it again this year. good luck to all still trying to fill tags, and congrats to those that have. Its been an amazing season so far....

Im sorry but who is checking these scores. I was just looking at the score card of d!eer recently put on the score card... I noticed that there is a Chago or something guy is from team 25.. sporting a buck he claims is a 125" I just cant see these measurements he's getting from the deer he has in the pics. he says its like 18" spread idk about all that and 21" main beams. im sorry but if you look at the deer entered after his it is clearly a much larger buck and it only scores 129" so are we allow to pose a complaint or am I just looking too much into this? I mean maybe im wrong but... you guys tell me

That's a monster buck flyguy! If you need someone to kill him, let me know. ;)

I'm now in central Illinois, hunting on my public land spot. It will probably be tough to get my earn-a-buck doe this late in the season. ... but I'll be out there doing my best.

I don't see his score as to far if any from the truth. His spread measurement looks about right. Mine was a little over 14" spread and his is a lot wider than mine was.

The problem I without having an official scorer flying all over the country to score every deer, it's pretty much impossible. If you want to challenge it, contact Fitz.

I'm just hoping to see a mature buck at this point. This season is kicking me in the nuts. I have food, I have cover, I have water, and I have does. This should be a recipe for seeing good bucks and it just hasn't. Trail cams have picked up some good bucks early, but lately they have been few and far between. Never in a season, have I gone this long without at least seeing a good buck. I'm not giving up though, I'll be taking tomorrow off work and hunting most of the day. Saturday starts our rifle season, but I'll be carrying the bow as well. My wife and I will actually be sleeping in my tower blind Friday night so we don't have to bump deer out of the beans first thing in the morning. I will be running camera for my wife, but if a good bucks comes out in bow range, I'm going to take the shot with my bow and she will film me. Anything else will be her's. I have lost most of my passion for gun hunting. She has never killed a deer before, so I'd like to see her get one. With my luck, she'll get a booner!

Hey guys im just checking in. Don't give up hunting has been slow all over the Midwest. It might brake loose late this year who knows. It has been a really weird rut so far this year. We have been blessed enough to see some of the few shooters we have left but haven't been able to close the deal. The EHD die off has been pretty devastating. Best thing about bowhunting is your whole year can change in ten seconds so everyone keep there mind in the game. It will happen if its saposed to.

As far as the score goes. Your right some of the scores are off. But Ive always lived by saying that greed will get you know where. I vote we just sit back in the darkness and sneak up and win this thing. Two weeks from now everyone will quit hunting. WE need to try to get within 300 points of the lead by that point and then we will go get them. let them cheat or bump there antler scores up if they think that's what they need to do. They will get theres in the end.

Hunt hard and wear your dam harness

Well, guys I'm with Clinton, I think we should sit back and let them hang theirselves.. I won't create a stink... It's just this is supposed to be fun... I'm not saying for sure the guys score is off.. I'm not there, just thought I'd bring attention to it to see your guys thoughts on it... Can't stand a cheat though that's for sure...

Hello guys (and Christine :)! Hope everything is going well, we just finished up with our last hunter today and it looks like I'm gong to get a little time to try and stick a whitey. Our season closes on Nov. 30 but then I'm headed to IL for a couple of weeks at Christmas. If I play my cards right, I might get to sleep on Clinton's couch again this year :D.

You're fortune can turn on a dime. As you could see from my last few posts, I was getting pretty discouraged by my season. Well, it's time to write a new chapter. Because I just shoot the biggest buck of my life. More to come, but I heard the crash, followed by complete silence.
