I haven't checked my cameras in a couple weeks. I'll be pulling the this weekend but I would not expect any to be shed yet here in NW Missouri.
As expected, I did not have any bucks that had shed on my trail cameras. We generally don't start seeing them shed until Feb. around here.
Well, I didn’t get anything last weekend and I’m done for the year. I’m sad to say that the only thing I could contribute to the team this year was the team avatar. I hope we can pull this one out because I sure enjoyed being a part of Nocked & Locked. I hope we get to do it again next year. -D
I know it hasn't been posted to the official score card yet, but we should be sitting at 1312 4/8. We have just plain smoked the previous champions. Congrats to everyone for all their hard work and effort(and luck). We've had a great season, made new friendships and hopefully learned a little from each other. Hopefully we will find out tomorrow that we are the Champions, and will be able to carry around bragging rights for the next year. For what it's worth, previous years winning scores: 2009 837 2010 1153 4/8 2011 1097 1/8
Thank you kind sir! Well team, looks like we are the 2012 Bowhunting.com Deer hunting Contest Champs! Looks like we may also have broken the record for high score as well! As the team captain let me be the first team member to say congrats guys! You all put in a lot of efforts to get it done. We couldn't have done it without every contribution. Everything from the big bucks that fell to the arrows of our members to the designer of our logo! We all put in something and came out on top!! I had a great feeling coming into this season but, honestly wasn't sure if we would win. I am glad to have been on this team and next year it will be us again! Team Nocked and Locked, way to get it done!
I guess we better hold up the celebration, looks like they are voting on whether or not to extend the season. I really don't like the idea of changing rules midstream. Everyone knew the contest limits when they signed up. I guess we will have to wait and see what the vote comes down to.
We shall see but, from what I can tell (votes by captains or at least post that are done correctly as instructed in Fitz original post) it's 7-4 to close it. My opinion is if the first debate of a second buck being scored as a doe didn't make the cut for a rule change, then this one shouldn't either. In my eyes, that set the precedent for any other rule change in the middle of the contest.
I agree, and like your comment about the kid changing rules in the middle of the game. Thanks for the vote.

Great job ya'll! Congrats on a great season. Too bad Dubbya wasn't able to find that Kansas buck he shot, you would have really run up the score! Well done.
