Well team I just shot a big Doe about 25 minute ago. Gonna gather up my gear, go get her and take some pics!

I'm chomping at the bit to get out in the timber. I've got the 9 day gun season and maybe a day or two of the muzzleloader season to take a buck with my bow. I'll only be hunting 6 days of the gun season but it is a nice window for me to try to harvest another animal (especially if I can do it with my bow). I will be taking both a gun and a bow into the woods with me. That said, as much as I'm looking forward to it outside of the family tradition I'd just a spume season be canceled as the sea of orange will claim a many bucks and many of them will not be mature deer. Unfortunately this season often turns into Hate Your Neighbor season in my neck of the woods. Best of luck to those still hunting.

Dang it! The owner of my company is flying in tomorrow. Apparently taking the first day off when your multimillionaire company owner is coming in town is frowned upon in an upper management position. Good thing is, it has turned my 2 day weekend into a 3 day. Too bad I can only hunt on Friday this week. Oh well. New moon and temps around freezing should have them on their feet anyways. Hoping to lay down my first bow buck. if nothing else it will be a min of 50 more on the board. Best of luck to the team!

Thanks team, I see by the score board we are still in this, and i notice we may be ahead once Christines buck is scored and added and they put the points on the board for my doe... Im just here for moral support now guys, I know we can win this when we start adding doe's to the board.. Carry us to victory... I noticed by the scoreboard that the team beating us at this point in time has 11 Doe's and a fergie.. They only have a couple bucks on the board, so if we just put our doe's up we should bring this thing home... I was so excited that I was able to add a doe to the list, it was the first thing i thought about when i let the arrow fly... I just think its been so cool to be a part of this contest even if it is just for bragging rights... Anyways, I will be checking in, but i will spend a lot of time in the woods this next week, I know it wont help put points on our board but I'm looking to put big boy on the wall... yes I also shot A doe. I have to run through the footage and cut Out a couple pics from the interview then I will post it. Ive been busy hunting and filming/editing some training stuff from work and just havent gotten to it yet.

 

Man, Team 10 is awesome. Are your backs getting sore from carrying me yet? :D

I’ll be out of state for the week of Thanksgiving but I may try to get up to the cabin for a long weekend in early December. Hopefully I’ll be able to contribute some points then.

Put another buck on the board for team 10. Just stuck one with the bow, during rifle season! Story and pics to come. Just stuck him about 15 minutes ago, he bedded down within sight. Pretty sure he's already dead, but don't want to chance it.

Sorry. Been taking care of him. I'll have to score him tonight. Probably only going to score about 115, but its my first self filmed and I am pretty proud of that. I also still have 2 bow tags as I had to tag this with my rifle tag.
