Nice work Christine! 50 more points for the good guys and more meat to eat! Did the leg injury ruin any of the hind quarter meat? Good luck getting on those bucks tomorrow morning!

THanks. The button won't add any points for us, since I already took a doe.... but I am glad I took him out. The meat had yellow tinged fluid all through it and he was very skinny so what meat there is will go to my dog and chickens.

Had some thunder and lightning this morning so I didn't go out but I'll be out there this afternoon.

Well, team shot a doe last night, but it was right at dark and was unsure of my shot, didnt recover my arrow last night so, wasn't sure if it was a pass through or not. Only found minimal blood as I was hunting in a field edge and her escape route was right through the middle, to make a long story short... Found my arrow and her earlier today.. Coyotes didn't leave much.. Anyway I have pics of her but none of me with her... Anyways I won't be adding to the teams total points with this doe.. But I'll get another... She was one of 6 doe's being dogged around by a lil' old buck. Big boy never showed and it was getting dark. So I shot my Doe.. Hoping for a better end result next go around.

Wow! You folks are doing great!!! Shot an 8 pt. buck this morning, but it will be a while before I can score him. I'm tired, need to clean up and get ready for work this evening. My old eyes deceived me and he is not as big on the ground as he looked from the stand, but he will add to our team score. I will post pics to the scoring thread when possible. Still working on a doe, been a tough season so far and I have not had a shot at any does yet!

Great job. Keepp adding to that score folks. I'm hoping things will pick up for me. I had several shooters on my cams early, but have yet to see a mature buck in the field. Movement seems to have slowed to a crawl here. I have yet to see any bucks chasing yet. I really done have a clue what is going on here. Just hoping it picks up before rifle season starts next weekend.

I retract my last statement. Just had a shooter chase about 5 does. They ran past two of my stands..... not the one I'm in. Hoping they circle ba ck

Nice work team. I’ll finally be getting back out there this week. I’ll get in the woods late Thursday morning but plan on sitting till dusk and doing an all-day sit on Friday (last days before firearms season starts on Saturday the 10th). I’ve got my fingers crossed.

Question for ya; especially you northern Missouri folks. How do you expect the warm weather forecasted for later this week to effect deer movement/rut activity? I’ll be in north central MO. The forecast has a high 57 low 43 for Thursday and high 65 low 53 Friday. Both should be bluebird sky days.

    Thanks

It's always slowed down the movement for me. I've rarely had good hunts on warm days during November.

Yeahhhhhhh... *sigh* I was about 99.9% sure that was the answer I was going to get. Oh well, all I can do is sit and hope. I'll give it my best effort.

Drath, I'll be suffering the heat come Monday morning. I have an all day hunt set and I be danged if it isn't going to be a scorcher (for November) and it sucks. The moon phase is going to be great and looks like a possible front moving in so hopefully.... Also, my brother and I went to walk down so I could show him I took my little guy but, never made it. We saw 3+ deer right in front of the stand I'll be hunting all day Monday.

Goo luck to everyone heading out there this week! Lets out some more points up!!

I'll be heading out early tomorrow morning. I put a camera on a mock scrape about a week ago and pulled the card on Monday night. Found that there were several bucks hitting it during daylight hours. I scrambled home from work on Tuesday and hung a stand on the best tree I could find. Hoping it pays off. Last year I killed my buck on only the second sit in a stand that I hung in the middle of the season. Hoping for a big day tomorrow. Saturday starts rifle season here in Missouri, so I'd love to put one down before that starts.
