Great buck hoyt_64! Congrats on the kill.

I'm sure other teams have put down bucks and does lately too, but by the looks of it were in the top 2 all of a sudden!

Its a lengthy read, but I have posted the story of my Thursday through Saturday under the Bowhunting Talk forum. The post is titled "Pre-Rut Success in WI." It covers my kill as well as recaps a good share of my brothers Thursday kill (Team 9)!

Thanks, Crick , Our team as a whole had one hell of a week. The best part, its just starting to get good. yOU guys are going to pee yourselves when you see the footage. FRANK rocked the footage it is amazing. When he steps out of the woods from running that doe he is unreal. I knew he was big from the trail cam pics but never imagined him to be that big. EVERY trail cam pic that I have and all the still photos we took do him no justice. The only way to appreciate it is the footage. I ABOUT DIED. Four year quest and we finally killed him. SNOW BIRD IS KNOW OURS!!!!!

Great job folks. Lets keep this momentum flowing. I'm hoping the next week will pick up for me. The bucks should be chasing and I'm hoping for more daylight movement. Haven't had a single daylight picture of a buck in several weeks.

I haven't been on as much lately. Again this work thing is killing me. Haha. I probably won't be back on stand until the weekend if I get a chance. With the days getting shorter, I don't have time to get home an get in on the week days like I was at the beginning of the season. I still have my ll day sit planned on the 12th. And hopefully a few more after that. I'm sure going to try to put a buck down to add to the score.

Congrats to everyone who has put a deer down so far. We are doing great and I couldn't be happier with being on this team! Knocked and Locked putting them down!

Good luck this weekend team. I will not be in the woods again until gun season rolls around (Nov 17th) and I have another tag.

Congrats team for being on top. Let's keep it that way! Really wish I didn't have to use my lil (fergie) buck, but hey I followed the rules and entered my first buck like it states.. Bucks are really on their feet now in N. Texas and I'll be in the stand the next 4 days.. Maybe I can seal the deal on a nice buck and add a doe to the score card. Good luck too all, and enjoy the outdoors...

Yep, first buck and one doe (or antlerless deer). Don't apologize for the Fergie buck! A lot of guys won't turn in anything.... and you have meat in the freezer!

I went out this morning. Had a button buck with mangled back legs come in. He was in rough shape so I put him out of his misery. He was the only deer I saw but my friend saw more than a half dozen bucks this morning on the same property, about a half mile away. So, I guess I know where I should go tomorrow. :D
