I won't be back in the stand for near a week. I'm so pumped after yesterday!

Good weekend hunting for me. Saturday night got on a good buck 130 inch main frame 8 with a split brown. Lots of grunting and chasing up the valley. I'll move in closer this week if possible. Sunday morning i seen 7 sitting where an oak valley meets up with a corn field picked just days prior. Entry strategy was not good, deer went running across field and also in valley below stand on entry. 20 deer is a safe assessment. Won't be hunting that stand in morning anymore.

I'm back out Friday. A kid from my hometown shot a buck today that I had on my hit list. It was shot this morning about 1/2 mile away from my southernmost piece of property. 150 plus is my estimation with a flyer on its G2 and split G3 making it a 12 point (good beams and mass).

 

The time of year we've all been waiting for is upon us (here in Wisco anyway). I'll be in the stand All day Friday through Sunday and will only move if hunter pressure or wind force me to. Big boys are moving in our area, just excited to see if this is an all day movement or if just extended in the morning and evening. If my brother hunts tomorrow I predict he may shoot the buck I passed the other night. He too had an encounter with him (Tuesday). He isn't a giant (yet), however, it would be his biggest bow buck to date! Good luck hunting everyone and I'll try not to send everyone too many pics....Unless I'm holding a buck that is.

New bucks are showing up on my farms. They are on their feet during daylight. These are the weeks we live for! I had a great encounter with a 3 year old tonight and I hope he brings his granddaddy tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

Buck down today group. I'll get more pics up and tell the story later. Needless to say it has been a fun and enjoyable day. Always great when a plan comes together. Guessing upwards of 160 inches you can figure on adding to our score.

Well Boys and girls. All Im going to say is you can add 170 and 7/8s more inches to our score. I will post the pics when I get them back from JZ. You guys are not going to believe the footage. Frank rocked it out. Oh yeah and hes a main frame 8. HUGE!!!!!!!

You guys are seeing all these bucks and I haven't been out hunting at my spot for almost two weeks. I guess I'd better get out there.

 

That a boy Clinton! Were in the running now boy's and girl's. So jealous of you having yours on footage. I need to get in better contact with you guys. I keep putting down nice deer and just haven't got the filming aspect of the hunt rolling yet. Can't wait to watch it on bow hunt or die!

 

Great work Clint! I knocked down an 8 tonight as well but no where near 170. Hes mature and it was a very exciting hunt.
