I will be out this evening for a hunt before the rain and cold front hits tonight. Plan is to hunt this evening through Sunday, weather permitting.

A little update for you guys - I still have not been out hunting ......Last week I worked 76.5 hours so I was barely functioning on my day off last Wednesday. Yesterday after work I was finally able to get a stand up on the property that I'm able to start hunting on November 6th when my vacation starts - I was also able to get a cell cam hung not far from that stand so hopefully I will get some deer inventory soon. I actually have 3 days off this week so hopefully I will get out for a sit if the rain ever stops
Hunted Friday evening with zero deer seen. Saturday morning was a wash out and took my son out in the evening and Sunday morning. We seen a few does and a few small bucks. Hoping this week/weekend will produce before I hit Illinois next week. Had a new buck show up on a cam here in Ohio last Wednesday evening. Will definitely be in that 170+ range. I think I know who he is and if it is, he added 40" inches this year.
Been a wild deer/sickness week for me. Sunday- My Australian buddy Daniel shoots his first whitetail. Monday at breakfast the other Australian friend hints that he wants to go even though he flies out Tuesday morning. So we check the wind, get up and in that evening, and he shoots a button buck and we watch him crash. I get a fever that night and feel pretty out of it the next day. Thursday I start to feel better so I take my daughter out in my food plot. 30 minutes in and a doe comes out and my daughter shoots her first deer. Friday I take my Australian friend back out on another hang and hunt. No luck getting a deer. But I did catch pink eye and a nasty sore throat. Sunday night he shoots his first buck. I drag myself up the hill and help him load it. I’m on the mend now. He heads out on Wednesday and from here on I’ll be looking to score some points for this team! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In two weeks I will be hunting whitetail. Hopefully I will be able to put another 50 points on the board.
The scorecard entry cracked me up. I've only been out 1 morning so far, cars broke, and it wont be done until next week, been out of town a bunch. Hopefully we will be in the tree next weekend!
My cousin got a doe this morning. It was his first morning out. He told me there were a few deer hanging out. The next 2 weeks are not going to go by fast enough
Hunting Friday evening to Sunday morning this weekend. Then packing up and heading to IL for 6-7 days. Call cams over there have been heating up.
Looks like buckeye is hunting this weekend. Who else is hunting this weekend? Covid hit our house this week. My wife is a school teacher so most anything that goes around comes home. It hit my wife pretty good. Me it just like having a cold. Anyway I leave October 30th for 8 days of hunting. I’m getting excited.
I’m planning to go Monday evening as of right now. The Australians went home and I just got over pink eye. It was brutal….eyes were on fire. Both eyes plus a sore throat/head cold.
