Here are my 3 top bucks. Had all of them last year on camera and found the matching set to one. All 3 have put on some inches and all 3 are on different pieces of properties. Last pic is a new food plot I added with a pond and Stump I put in this summer , sits in between two giant cornfields and the deer really funnel through. Excited for a fun fall!!
I posted this in the Smacktalk thread, but I'm going to post it in every team thread so no one misses it: I want to take a minute and clarify a rule in the contest and emphasize the importance of getting your required two different photos with the buck, the bow and you in the pics for entry on the Official Scorecard. The rules read: Scoring system will be as follows: Each participant is allowed to enter ONE antlered deer as their “Buck Score”. This must be the FIRST antlered deer that you harvest during the season. We had an instance last season where someone in the contest killed a buck but failed to get pictures of the buck. This not only resulted in the buck not being counted towards the team total (of course), but also prevented him from entering another buck killed later. ONLY the first buck you kill can be entered, so make sure you don't make the mistake of not getting TWO good pics that have you, the bow and the buck in them.
Hey guys, question for you. Would you guys be interested in setting up a GroupMe or a group text thread? I understand sometimes that takes away from the forum here. I just find it a quicker way to stay in contact and update as the season goes on. I don’t get notifications for the forum and sometimes I just don’t remember to look. In GroupMe and group texts you can always mute the conversation for a while if you’re at work or don’t want your phone blowing up. We can also share some pics of bucks and other info you don’t want the whole wide web to see. We can still post here too. Just a thought, if you’d prefer to keep it all here I will try to remember to hop on here more often. Id be down for a group text or something, we did that last year with team 9, and I thought it was a cool way to get to know everyone a little better. only thing I didn't like was that every time I clicked on a picture shared, it saved it in my gallery... but I think that was a me being bad at technology. Mongo not good at computers
I'm up for a group chat of some kind. Worked good on last year's team. Too bad we only had about four active team members all year! Looking forward to this team being active and getting to know everyone and having some fun!

My service isn’t the greatest, so I hope this goes. I’d be OK with a group text. The weather up here has really been bad. It’s been wet all day and night. Most of the day have not been able to see more than 60,70 yards. Hopefully better news tomorrow

This is my first year hunting with a compound bow. Last year I used a crossbow. I will be taking my crossbow just in case I need it. Looks like I may have a few good targets this year. I will be hunting in Nov. in Kansas on a private farm. I hope everyone has good luck this year. Lets see yalls hit list.
Good looking bucks you guys have. I get off the mountain in one piece. It was a bit of pucker factor going on. There’s about a half mile section if you go over the edge it’s a good 80 to 100 foot fall. Of course, it is the muddiest spot to be on. Travis, thank you for putting the text group together. I have three grandsons that play football so I’m off to football games for a few hours.
