Yeah, got some snow yesterday more coming Friday, then below zero temps for the weekend. Will be in my redneck haybale with the heater running in the turnip plot!
Filled my buck tag last night. Big old buck came into the turnip plot but had already dropped his headgear! Old guy also had a broken front leg or shoulder just dangling. Couldn't let him suffer thru the winter! Feel good about it, had to do it! Going to donate him to a local animal rehabilitation center. That's a wrap on 2023 season.
So, I'll be the jerk here...does that count as a bonus buck or is it considered an antlerless? I'd ask regardless of our standing.

Whatever guys. I didn't shoot it for the points! I shot him so an old warrior didn't have to suffer thru the winter! This situation I could care less about points and a contest! And I feel good about it!

Ohio is open until past the closing date of Jan 31st, Feb. 4th. I think @MONGO still has both tags. If nothing else is added this year, this has been a great group to be apart of either way. We gave it a heck of a run! Enjoyed it fellas!
