We’re still in the race. We just need a few doe’s and a couple bucks to take this contest.

 

On the “smack talk thread” they are harassing us. I told them you guys were all waiting for 150+ bucks and the points will start coming in

 

Incredible hunt last night. First buck with a recurve. I was on the ground and this was the first time I’ve ever had one come into a decoy. He was at 2 yards when he saw me and he gave me a shot at 22 yards. Hit him through both lungs and he went up 70 yards and crashed.

Well team it’s going to be tough to beat team 5. Those guys are having a great season. But with that said, we could still do it. With a couple bucks and a few does, we could catch up to them.
Mostly have fun doing it.

Tony, you’re a good guy. This contest is for having fun and ribbing some of the guys a bit. We have all had seasons were things just didn’t come together.

 

Finally have a shooter at my house on camera. He's been there the last two mornings day lighting. Might sit this evening if I can get out of work early.

Also, have a few decent bucks showing on cams at our leases. 50pts for me will not be a problem. I tend to hold out for does until later in the season and there is no shortage of them!

Fellas sorry I forget to get on here much and post. Thanks for the kind words. I’m still kind of in shock how that hunt went down. Just crazy.


Headed to northern Ohio this weekend and may take my daughter or brother in law out to hunt. The last two hunts down here I’ve had my daughter within 40 yards of a couple small bucks but it just hasn’t came together. Still some fun hunts with her.
