I’m Travis, live in suburbs of Minneapolis and hunt locally pretty much every weekend of the season. Engaged, two dogs and getting married in 5 short weeks!
Congratulations!!! Wait..... You are getting married during bow season?!?! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Yep. COVID forced us to change plans multiple times, so we’re very happy to be finally making it happen! Bowhunting is incredibly important to me, and she knows that. But it’s not more important than this! I can definitely concede a week, without question.
My name is Justin, obviously lol. I live in West Central Indiana. Me and my fiance just set the date to get married next year. No kids. Usually take the last week of October off which i have off this year. I’ll be good for 50 points for sure and hopefully a buck. I have a couple bucks on the hit list. Team name ideas.. The dimes, Justin Zarr for President, Iowa Sucks... I'm not offended if no one takes these seriously! I've been in this pool thing for probably the last 5 years and really enjoy it. My Name is Brad Zank I live in eastern Wisconsin. I'm am Master Plumber, working at a Utility doing all things water, and water treatment. I'm married with 2 boys ages 5&8. The 8 year old is gearing up for his first youth season this year and I can't wait to mentor him through it. Good to meet everyone! I'm taking my hat out of the running for Captain. I'm not going to be on here everyday, but I'll be on every other day or so. I'll get some trail camera pictures posted in the next week or so. I'm planning on checking all my cameras this weeekend one last time before the opener.
Mornin gents. I sent 18andrew a PM to see if we can get ahold of him and get him checked in. I'm Zack from WV. I hunt my mother in-law's property here, about 200 acres with another 800ish adjoining that is all family only access that only 1 other cousin ever uses. I also got drawn for the urban hunt again this year which gives me 7 extra tags at a 100 acre park in town. Got my biggest buck to date last year and didn't quite break 100 so that's my goal for this year. Fingers crossed I'm gonna be sitting over this guy early this season! I’m Colby from Ohio, married with 2 boys. We bought our first house recently and will be moving in the end of September which will give me lots of work to do this fall. I should be able to get out for a long weekend or two during the rut and some half days here and there. I will be hunting public land mostly. I am not targeting any specific bucks and will be shooting the first 3 year old or older buck that comes in range. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
What sort of gear is everyone using? I’ll be hunting with a bowtech reign 6 on the compound side, and a timberhawk strike recurve.

I just sold my VXR and got a Hoyt RX4 Alpha on the way should be here by the end of this month but if not I still have my mathews creed xs. I shoot NAP killzones, g5 montecs, blood therapy ocd and muzzys. Usually stick to the fixed blade. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm shooting a Mathews Traverse at 62lbs and either NAP Thunderheads or Rage Trypans. I just got some new Victory arrows yesterday and going to experiment with weighted inserts to get the right arrow weight. Justin, why did you sell your VXR? I haven't shot one yet but I hear good things about them.
Well..... I was going to hunt with a Mathews tx5 until I ran over it last weekend. The riser survived without a scratch, but I gotta get new limbs and a new set of cams before it’s going to be usable. I don’t think the string and cables were messed up but going to replace them too just in case. I will be using a bowtech convergence in the meantime.
I loved everything about besides the draw cycle. Is has a big dump into the back wall. I like the draw cycle better on the rx4. I went back and forth on selling for a couple months but finally decided to get the rx4. Both bows are great bows just all preference. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Good to know. I'm not brand loyal, so I bounce around between bow companies, mostly Hoyt and Mathews. It's just personal preference for me as well.
Figured I'd throw some pics on here for possible team logo. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
