I went out Saturday afternoon. I pulled a trail camera out of the woods and sat an overgrown road about 75 yards off a food plot. With about 10 minutes of light left, I had a couple of does get up out of the CRP and start heading my way. Instead of staying on the overgrown road and giving me a wide open 15 yards shot, they cut through the thick stuff. I took a shot right at the end of shooting light through the thick stuff and missed. Pretty sure my arrow deflected off a small limb I didn't see in the failing light.
