Sorry guys, but we are very clear on the rule: The main reason for this rule is to keep honest people honest. It's pretty easy to doctor up a single photo of a deer. Doing it to two photos of the same deer with the same equipment is much tougher. Congrats to you both on good harvests! I hope you continue to have good luck the rest of the season.
Doctoring up photos to win an online contest that has no prizes? Lmao, that would be retarded....of course this is the Internet (and this site has lots of Mathews shooters) lol, Jk So anyway, I'm also on several other teams on other sites....including one that I run, your rule seems a little silly to me. You gonna start requiring blood samples and pee tests next? You can go ahead and replace me as well. No hard feelings....my talents as a natural born killer will be of more use elsewhere Good luck to the rest of my team
So now we are down to 8. Not sure why anybody would quit unless they are a one doe state. Just shoot another one and take the correct pictures. Seems selfish to me. The rules are clearly posted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk www.skyangler.com
You guys are too funny. This should still be about deer you want to shoot, and 2nd about the contest. I have never been on a wining team and really do not care if that ever happens. So let's go and kill some deer and have fun doing it boys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on here much. I have been working 14+hrs a day for the last week and a half. Anyway, I finally made it to the Stand this morning. Didn't see anything, but was worth it. I took my gf. It was the first time she had ever hunted.
Update from Kansas, Haven's sat yet, haven't checked camera in close to 3 weeks. I refuse to check my camera unless the wind is right and it is mid day. I only have 80 acres to hunt and after hunting it 2 years I know the deer movement, no reason to spoil it before the bucks move in. Sometime in the next two weeks milo harvest will be under way so thats when I'll start hunting unless I get a day late this week to make a preliminary hunt and make sure I have everything set for the season, stand equipment etc. My opinion on the drama going on in this thread. If you don't like the rules that's fine, but it makes me wonder why you are here. I know to place as a team we need to take a buck, A BUCK WE PERSONALLY ARE HAPPY WITH, and a doe. I read the rules going in to this and reread them to make sure they are within my abilities, they are but I will take a buck first. On another topic, I love the thrill of bowhunting deer but my real passion is coyote hunting and this year is going to be great. Not going to lie I get just as pumped calling in and killing a coyote as I do shooting a buck with my bow. As the temps drop the more I think about making a coyote set the less I think about deer hunting, however I feel the need to put meat in the freezer and my butt in the stand. My family own 440 acres including the 80 acres that I am the sole hunter on and lease another 600. My dad has hunters from 3 states that hunt on our land and have been hunting with us for the last 10 years, they are more friends than clients at this point. One of our hunters took this buck opening evening of muzzleloader season.
Welp, hunted 4 days so far (out of 7). Passed on a couple smaller does and a couple bucks the first day. Spooked 2,3. And this morning passed on an 8 point I didn't think was quite mature enough. Still optimistic about one buck I call ghost that should B&C! Best of luck this season! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Going to slip in the stand this evening after work. Will try and put down a doe tonight if given the chance, we will see how it goes. Seen a lot of doe/fawns this year.
On my way out to the stand now. It's a bit warm this afternoon, hopefully they're still moving. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

I have the correct pictures with my bow for the contest, but in all honesty this buck was for much more than the contest. These are a couple for the team and I will share the rest tomorrow because it was a great hunt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk www.skyangler.com
Congrats on the buck!! What are y'all's views on hunting in heavy wind? Seems like the past couple weeks have been nothing but 10-15mph winds here in OK Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
