Still hunting for one of our shooter bucks. It has been a tough go this year. Did not see a lot of rutting activity. My trail pics say the bucks are moving and check scraps again. I have 6 pics of bucks moving between 11am and 1 pm in the last week.

I just got done with harvest so my season is technically just starting. I missed the rut. Hopefully my food plots do there job late season.

Just got word from some of my friends, they found the buck I shot a few weeks back dead. Awaiting pics now, and they said he wasn't far from where we ended our search.

Sorry I haven't been on here much. I bought a house, and have been trying to get everything packed and moved. By the time that 2nd firearm season is over, I should be ready to hit the woods again. There might still be a little hope left for my season(at least I hope so).

I'm also still hunting. Had a few close calls in late October and early November but not much of any luck this season - seen a lot of deer this year just haven't been able to get at many bucks.

Hung a new stand yesterday and my buddy that hunts my land with me on occasion took a doe this am.

It's a stand in an area that gets a lot of traffic and it hasn't been hunted yet. I usually don't hunt this area because it's just so thick not a lot of shooting lanes for the bow.

Will keep hunting weekends through Jan 15
    If need be.

Hunting in the morning it will be 8° here in Southwest Indiana - 5 inches of snow on the ground The deer should be up and moving. Lets see if I can last until 10 am and I will be happy!!

I went out this morning, and had to call it quits by 10:30.. lol

Saw 7 does, but they were really on edge and spooked pretty easily. If I can get myself up early again I will try again tomorrow.
