This will be my first year with the bow. I am going to change up a few things before I step into the turkey woods. I think I'm going to switch to a mechanical or a fixed blade turkey head. Also I'm going to have some arrows fletched with an offset, I've been shooting everything straigh fletch. A new sight and rest hopefully I'll get this weekend and the IL deer and turkey show. If I can get in front of one with my late tag, he'll be points.

So where are we at right now? Does everyone but me have a set plan? Yes, I am doing my homework, Planning on getting out a couple days next week to scope some potential areas.
Not to sure on anything really though. I guess with the late season tags that are avail, I can only hope to get one of the 7 that are avail for the zone I have permission to hunt private. I know there are some big toms on this private acres (110 acres). I know where they chill, and I know where they feed. I can be both places at once too! I just gotta get into the pines, and dig in to a fox hole or something.

Any last advice for a late season hunt. Help a guy out a little?

Ben. That is freakin' sweet. lol.
My plan if I don't get one of the 7?
I have been reading where all of the other surplus licenses are at. Starting last week, when I get free time, I take my wife to work, and spend the day going to those locations, and scouting around WMA's for any signs.

I still have some tricks up my sleeve. But, we will make it happen! Even if I have to buy one of the birds from a farmer! lol .I'm kidding.

Hey BTW, look at my new post I'm about to...well, post. I got some new camo on order.
