Get em! Man I'm jealous as hell. All I have on tap is my 9 year olds soccer game and putting g up with my ex wife's bi**h of a sister for about an hour. She would gag a maggot on the meat wagon. Looks like she caught on fire and somebody put her out with a wet chain. Wears so much makeup she looks like Bob Ross smacked her with his paint pallet. Sorry. I'll stop. Good luck this eve. Nice! I heard that about the jobs. If you live rural it never recoverd and that's why I dont live in western NC anymore. At least the main reason i left was to find work. Sucks but damn these midwest bucks are amazing, so I got that going for me. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Yep day 1 was a bust but it just feels good to be sitting in the woods bow in hand again, the offseason is loooong. I'm back at it this morning just hoping those does come back by here and get a little closer this time! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
No deer down this morning but if anyone doesn't have an extinguisher call, get one. I just got one after last season and I starting making fawn calls around 930 with it and at about 950 I had two huge bodied bucks come crashing in at me. Stopped about 10 yards to my left but I have zero room to shoot that direction. One 8 and one really awesome looking 6pt. The 6 was about 3 feet from an arrow flying his way when he looked up and saw me. He walked literally right underneath my feet so I was trying to wait for him to get out from below me, not a spine shot fan. He bounded off behind some thicker brush about 30 yards away but I was able to keep him right there with the extinguisher fawn bleats. He even came back to where they originally stopped to my left before turning around and leaving. Talk about adrenaline dump boys! I've never had a buck that big so close let alone 2 at the same time! That was an incredible hunt!! May have to try to get back in after work in a couple days idk if I can wait for the weekend again lol. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
So I just got my MA out of state license and my RI out of state license. It's crazy not to, I can hunt on Sunday in RI and season opens on Sept. 15th. I have to check but I think I can hunt outside my house a short walk.
I shoulda called off today! Sucks being back to work after a weekend of hunting. I think I'm jonesing worse now than I was last week! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

You're in the south. Go to church son! That's where it's at. Just be careful bc those chicks might wanna marry you if you aren't careful, but if her daddy got the land, it might go a long way. Lol. In my experience from dating hot Clemson chicks...they are bat sh!t crazy and a hell of a lot of fun. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
