Well I've had a weird week and I'll get caught up later probably, but this has been on my mind since sunday. I had to go check a verticle rub and mock scrape combo I set up. Dang thing works like a champ and this little 8 just shows up. Haven't seen him this year in that spot. Totally cool. Now I have to set another one up. Ha! STC_6920.jpeg

Well I checked out a WMA and really didn't find any sign. I even found wild grapes on the ground and nothing was touching them . No tracks. I'll check out another this week end.

Dang that's a big maple! I miss the big trees and when I go back home now it kind of surprises me how big the trees are. Excited you get to hunt soon! Keep us in the loop. The live from the stand thread is itching to see some action too.

New site this year for the urban hunt. Moved due to current construction by my old site. From what I heard from the folks in the area is that this is the place to be. Now just have to figure out the area.

Or I actually like this one slightly better. Bonus points for why I insisted on the ridiculous white feather. bowhuntordieteamlogo1.jpeg

Carlos Hathcock. Marine sniper. One bad mammy jammer, was known as white feather and wrote "One Shot One Kill".

I guess the rest of our gregarious team members need to chime in. Whenever.

I love the logo! way to go to Mrs. Ridge

Sunday will mark the 3rd time of returning to the farm to work on my cuddeback cuddelink system. I will say if I ever get it running right this system is freaking awesome. its 1.5 hour one way trip so thats been eating up all my days off for the last few weeks. between that and getting stands done. Normally it only takes me a weekend to get everything in place for the season but this cuddelink system has eaten up most of the days i have been down at the WI farm.

ZB cant wait for you to sling some arrows!!

No luck this morning. Saw a few does but I wasn't feeling a 40 yarder on day 1 of the season so I pulled it down. Had to run into work to check on the pumps then I'm running home to get a bite to eat before I head back in for an evening sit.

So that puts you back on the 5th? If I had to pick 30 days to hunt it'd be mid October to mid November so you should be solid when you roll back state side.
