Well fellas I feel good about this year. You all seem to be engaged and have senses of humor and a love of hunting with an inferior weapon. I like it. I'm a bit of a smart ass and I want to get that out of the way before anybody takes anything i say too seriously. My name is Eric btw, so you can cuss me by my real name. My grandfather was a bit of a bootlegger between Tennessee and NC back in the good ole days, so that's where my screen name comes from. The number 3 is from the greatest nascar driver to live, by god. I have 5 kids. 3 daughter's from my first marriage and a step son and daughter by my current wife. They are all awesome kids and I'm lucky to be part of their lives and they know daddy goes off the rails in the fall. It's my passion. Lol. Anyway that's a bit of me and I look forward to the season!

I feel good about this team too! Last year I was on a team where only about four guys were active. We tried to get the rest engaged but they just gave excuses. Towards the end of the season the Captain said something and really pissed one of them off. Lol
Anyways I’m a nightcrawer. I work 3:30 to 12:00 midnight in a machine shop, been doing it for 47 years. I get texts whenever someone posts to our string so it’s easy to just pop in when someone posts here. I have three daughters and they think I’m nuts but they love me so I let them think it.
So we should get along just fine!

I have thick skin Eric. So when I shoot a "giant" and it ends up measuring 115 you can lay into me pretty good. It does seem to be an active team so that will make for a fun season. I like knowing when someone is in a tree. living vicariously is the second best thing to actually being in a tree myself. I think I mentioned this in one of my prior posts but I get pretty much zero cell service on one of my hunting spots but I will do before and after updates for sure.. and live from the stand messages when I am hunting in MN.

I'm in Parkersburg. I'm definitely a lifer, I'd like to think I'd be here even if my parents hadn't lived here when I was born. Always thought I wanted out when I was a kid but when I finally left all I wanted was to come back lol. Love it so much the mountaineer is a permanent part of my body, no where else like it. [IMG]

Joel here, also with thick skin and have been called a smart-@$$ more often than not. I will talk a big game and likely be in a tree a lot but that won’t matter. We will have fun this year with a good group of people.

Ye that's right after I got it at the end of May. Over the left side of my ribcage without a doubt the most painful one I have but it was definitely worth it! [IMG]

I like it! I have a largemouth bass on my shoulder. So is the Z in Zblevins Zack?
I think we are first with a team name also.

Happy first gameday boys. There's gonna be 100,000+ here in tiny Clemson matriculating into the area around Death Valley in the next few hours. Tune in at 8!

What a prompt bunch we are...I love it.

Well it looks like I'm cancelling my trip to Florida. We were on the fence till the cat 4 forecast and now we are worried about making a flight out. Dang it. There goes my mini vacation.

Just finished up setting up a spot where me and a buddy from work will be opening up our urban season next week. Think it's gonna be a killer spot, tons of tracks and trails coming in and out of this little zone in every which way. Never hunted bow with someone in the same spot, our trees are about 15ft apart so should be fun! [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I’m in the same boat. Despite living in Green Bay I didn’t know who the Packers played tonight, much less that they even had a game...

I'm going to work on an access trail tomorrow. I should have already done it and I'm mad at myself for putting it off till this close to season. It needs to be done though for the long game.
