Went for my first walk today. Just a 1 hour walk around my home. Not a thing. Didn't expect to find any, but it was a nice walk. Merry Christmas all.
Hey fellas I had a stellar season. I shot my biggest bow deer this year, a big 10 pointer scored 133 5/8. Thats considered pretty good around by me, 20 miles outside NYC. I got a few does aswell so the freezer is stocked up. Its been a crazy winter, incredibly warm, no snow or ice and tons of food on the ground. I think I will run some cameras to see if any bucks are dropping yet. Im itching to defend our title.
So do we have to start another thread in this year's contest or keep this one? I found two yesterday....
Um Idk have to look into it I assumed we'd use this one but sometimes whoever is running the contest just makes one for the defending champs. I haven't seen the other one.
Yea I'd say try to just use this one. Guess give it a couple days to see if everyone checks in and then I'll start sending messages to everybody else.
Saw another shed buck again yesterday. Just a small one though. My neighbor found a 5 point side across the street already. Weird year
I think any shed counts as long as its found within the time frame. Since we're gonna use this thread I'll wipe the scores on the first post from last year and start it back up. Also use that as a check in. So if you see that change that's why. I've also noticed a contest score card the captains are supposed to keep up dated and a post your shed one that you can put up some pics if you want. Good luck guys. I'm gonna try to get out next couple days to go for a look. Seen a few that are dropping but with the snow we recently got might be hard for right now but never know until ya go out and look.
Also sent last two guys a pm, powerhawk looks to be still active but rackem hasn't posted since June so we'll see. May be getting a new member of team but I'll give it few days.
Oops. Sorry guys. I forgot we kept the same team as last year. But I'm checking in. I've seen some bucks dropped already but between class and some local trade shows coming up I don't know when I'll really be able to get out and walk.
Still haven't heard anything outta RackemOutdoors, so mentioned it on the alt thread for a replacement. What do you guys wanna do as far as time frame to go ahead and put in for a definite replacement? Also let me know if anybody had found any and I'll get the scorecard goin too.
Sorry crick forgot to take my name off the alternate list. I was on Team 1 from last year and forgot we stay together as the winning team.
