not much going on down here in Louisiana. finally some rain for the last two days. the food plots needed it bad, now we are dealing with the humidity. UGH!!! Deer have been moving a good bit. last weekend i went and walked the property in Mississippi, mainly hard woods with sporadic pines. lots of white oaks dropping acorns, got hit 10 friggin times. LOL

Shot a doe right before dark . She ran off into a thick 5 year old clear cut / planted pines . Got down , took a look and Not much blood on the arrow . Found a few spots of blood in the food plot and backed out . Gonna sit at camp and give her a few hours before I go back.

Followed a sparse blood trail for 50 yards then my flashlight died . Marked last blood and backed out . Gonna hunt for an hour or so then go back and look some more
