Team 1 One Shot

I’m still grinding it out. This weekend is shotgun season. I will keep at until the end of the season.

 

Im still at it also, went to Ky but didnt see a buck at all , I herd EHD hit my area and there arnt many deer left, Back in Ga and will be try to get a buck before seasons end.... good luck yall

 

I have tracked several hundreds of deer over the past decades by sight and by using tracking dogs. FYI - last night I put the Track'n Trail app to use on a doe my nephew shot. I was very impressed with its ability to highlight the blood on forest leaves. I went back today and found that too many red leaves on the forest floor would limit its use in daylight. Reducing the "sensitivity" setting in the app helped reduce false detections in daylight, but I had to hold my iphone 16 close to the ground. Still it's something for bowhunters to consider getting.

Had a heck of a night in the deer woods with my boys tonight! Tagged out on bucks and filled another doe tag.

That is awesome. that's what it is all about. MEMORIES!!!

 

How's is going guys? Anyone still out grinding? I've got a couple doe tags left but I'm focusing on trying to get my nephew on a buck. We've got some cold weather moving in and and I've got some good food sources to sit over with him.

 

I’m still at it up in a tree now it’s going to get cold again starting tomorrow I hope that gets the action to pick up been really slow the last week and a half with this super warm weather I hoping to get us at least one more doe

Yeah i still have 6 tags to fill. 3 in LA and 3 in MS. focusing on getting the GF her first deer. then the son in law his when he comes in January. it is still warm here. lows of the mid 30s this weekend. going to do my first weekend hunt on the new place in MS after turkey day.

 

I shot a young doe this afternoon. I'll post her in the scorecard with the requisite pics in a day or two. She didn't go far as I center punched her heart.

Just got to the Mississippi property this evening. Chillin in the camp. I’m the only one here, it is awesome. I don’t have to people this weekend.

We are slammed with rain through the weekend. still have six tags to fill between Louisiana and Mississippi. I still have time though.

 

One of two decent bucks at a baiting site that I can only hunt on Sats. The bucks show up only after hours (for now).
