A decent 10 showed up in one of my bait sites a few days ago, probably looking for does as he has not returned.

 

I got busted by every buck Saturday night as the wind was from the south even though it said it was from the north. Had a big 8 and a big 6. And I screwed up a big doe.

 

Not good man, those winds will get you every time. Lots of good days left to get it done, stay on em!

 

Headed to Kansas in the morning. I will be in the stand Saturday morning. some good bucks and tons of does on camera. fingers crossed.

Good luck out in Kansas Russ, I'd have to see you're going to hit it about perfect out there. Do you have a certain number of days you'll be out there, or are you staying until you kill?

 

I got one right at daybreak this morning he’s not as big as I thought he was when I first saw him but am very happy with him shot seemed a little high at first but he didn’t make I out of sight and crashed out I’ll get him up on the scorecard as soon as possible

I think you missed taking your 4th mass measurement Snuff. Probably add another 4 inches...

Might check it.

 

Yep you get 4 mass measurements no matter what, you’ll take the 4th measurements about halfway between the g3s and the tip to f the main beam. I’ll message LC just so he knows and the. You’ll just have to go in and edit your post.

Congrats on the buck. Won’t be back out until next weekend, but gun season starts the 15th here in Michigan, so getting out the boom stick for another doe or if a buck walks by again.
