Agreed we'll just fly under the radar and they won't even know what hit them. :D

    Great looking buck there Frank.

Yes we can give our team a name. Is anyone here any good at creating avatars?

I don't know if we name captains or not?

I just put out a trail camera last weekend so I am anxious to check it this Sat. I have seen a couple very nice bucks around my hunting area this summer in MN.

I am planning a ND hunt for the weekend of Sept 12 and then MN season will open Sept 19.

I'm of no help with avatars at all. Frank, I remember that buck from the HNI contest last year....great buck.

My weekend plans are moving a stand, checking a camera, taking my kids to see Roger Raglin at our local shop:rolleyes:. Not too thrilled about the last part, but they like him, so we are going.

I'm heading up to some public land I like this Saturday to scout. I'll also be checking the cams to see if any new deer have ventured into my local spot.

Anybody got any team name ideas? Not sure about making an avatar about the only program I have that I could work with is Paint.

    Joe,

We need to hook up one year and hit ND, think it is a real sleeper state and has the potential to kick out some great bucks - do you hunt private, outfitter, or public land

    Frank,

This will be my second year hunting ND. A friend of mine has access to a farm so I go with him. This land holds some nice bucks. We struck out last season but I think we learned a few things that may hopefully help us this time. One thing that made it tough last year was the near 100 degree weather which pretty much shut down the deer movement during daylight hours.

I hunt two different pieces of private land in MN which total around 200 acres.

So far this year, i have only done some glassing and been placing the cams around. My season starts at the end of September, the real scouting will begin towards the beginning. I have a few mature bucks pegged for this upcoming season.

Im not so good with avatars, but i can probably rattle off a bunch of team names,

I spend alot of time on here, but im not sure if we pick captains or not. I wouldnt mind doing it if we did.

I nominate Siman to be captain if we need one.

I haven't been able to think of any team names...at least nothing that hasn't been used many times before.

Siman is fine with me. Anyone but me is ok with me. :D

How's this for an avatar for TEAM 1? ;)

It has a subtle take no prisoners approach......

Seriously, I have nothing. Carry on. :D

    BBM,

    The "Sasquatch Kings",

You know, we can make fun of Fran, and it doesnt even have anything to do with hunting, plus the avatar would fit ;)

Siman sounds good as captain if we need one.

With MN/Kyle that just leaves one to check in?

Nice idea for the avatar - kinda goes with the underdog theme -

Names I am drawing a blank so far as well but will start popping off some soon
Picked up the lime and fertilizer yesterday on the way home
going to try and get that on the ground in the next couple days

If we need captains I am fine with Caleb as well

Whats everyone shooting in terms of equipment may spark some team name ideas
