Well guys I f#$@ed up. I shot a doe on Sat. evening. It was late after I gutted her and everything. Friend took a quick pic that didnt turn out great and I forgot to put my bow on her. Was going to snap a few more the following morning, but had to rush to the processor before he closed for the day. So needless to say I didnt get more pics:bash::whip::throw:. I did get some of the action on film though, so I don't know if that will count. Either way I have plenty around that I need to thin out so it won't be a huge loss.

Well so far this has been a great season. I killed a coyote Sunday evening and got my first bow kill turkey yesterday evening. Still no deer for the team. I passed a young 100" 8 pt Saturday evening and came close to getting a shot at a doe. It's just a matter of time before I put some points on the board.

Its been rainy and windy here the last couple days so I haven't been in the woods. I'll probably try and sneak out tomorrow.

Good luck! The weather is taking a nose dive in the next few days so I'm hoping that will help out the deer movement. Go get em!

Now things are cooking. We have 3 does down. Is that right? Things are going to get going here in Illinois any day. I passed a pretty nice 120" 8 pt Friday evening. He looked bigger coming toward me, but he had some short tines. I'm taking a bunch of days off the first 2 weeks of November. I'm hoping one of those 150" bruisers come by. I hope the weather stays cool. Good luck everyone!

Killed a smaller 8 pointer this weekend guys, grossed 113 and change. Wasn't the target buck but he got me shook coming in through the corn field I spent freakin days planting, so that was all it took for me to let loose an arrow. I also recently found out I wouldn't be able to hunt again til thanksgiving living two states away so I took my chance to not end up w tag soup!

Ill kill a doe over thanksgiving break to add to the total. Best of luck to you guys, should be getting good the next few weeks!

    Nice job!

Not much to report here. I'll be leaving for Illinois in less than 2 weeks so I'll be hitting it hard then.
