Do any of you guys use a backpack that you can carry your bow with? I bought a e bike and still trying to think of the best way to carry my bow while riding.

I’m not on your team of course, but I tried one last year and it didn’t work for me.

The pack I used had a pocket for the bottom cam that hung down below the pack. The problem I had was the bottom cam hung down low enough that it would bang against the rack over the back tire. I guess it would depend on the design of both the pack and the bike.

The only way I could make it work was to stand up while riding with the bow on the pack. Needless to say that didn’t last long.

I started using a bow sling and slinging the bow across my chest when riding. It works great right up until you wreck the bike.

Ok. Thanks for the input. I have had it in the woods twice checking cams, can definitely see the possibility of crashing!

Opening day this Saturday. I was scheduled to work but decided to take it off. Moved/ set 6 stands over the past 2 days. Buck movement has been kind of slow on the cameras. One of the big corn fields just got cut so I’m thinking that will shake things up but my goal for day one is to smack a doe. Haven’t shot a doe in years and have the itch to get something on the ground.

Congrats on a great buck. Are you done for the year or are you able to shoot does or another buck?

    Nice work Humpty!

Not sure I'll be hunting much for myself before mid-October, so don't hold your breath for redemption any time soon. Going to get the kids out as much as I can before it gets too cold, then I'll start figuring out if there are any bucks around I want to try and kill. They've been far and few between this summer and the early part of fall.

I still have 5 doe tags and 1 buck tag. Doe should be no problem for me. (Knock on wood) also have a draw hunt the first weekend of November.

The draw hunt in November allows me to shoot 3 doe and 1 buck just on that hunt. Over in Oak Ridge TN. Also have plenty of doe and a couple other shooters behind the house.

Had my first sit of the year tonight. Had 9 does and fawns out in the foodplot. Was a great night to be out. Buck activity had been slow on my cameras lately. Need to hang a few more cams and try to see what's going on

Good luck fellas, I’ll be doe hunting probably the second week of October which is my sons fall break. Tropical depression Ian is over East Tennessee now. Just suppose to get a lot of rain next few days.

Just reiterating.....you need 2 pics with you, your bow, and your deer. If using video..... for your points to count you need the video and recovery including you and deer.

Just stating this as a reminder.
