Things aren't that much better out in the suburbs where I live either. I am about 40 minutes from downtown. Well glad you made it back to the peaceful life again!

Just wondering if everyone from team 1 is still going to compete? Haven't heard from Washington Hunter in weeks.

Wash was out of town on a hunting trip. MN/Kyle might have gotten word of how he did. I can't remember when exactly he said he was going to be back though.

Well that would explain his absense. I just figured he was spending all his time at the Holister store!

I know how that is! Things here are crazy. Seems like the only light at the end of the tunnel is the two days off I next week when I finally get to hunt!!!

Pure insanity out here with elk the last few days.. TOO MUCH to try to write about I will let Rybo later.. I had to work today so Rybo is solo..

I did pass on a 125 class 4x4 last night off the ground 10 yards broadside.. Just touching base its been 6 days since I got on the puter..

I'm home, safe and sound. Been busy catching back up with things here at home and at work.

Wound up not getting a deer on my trip, limb on my 82nd cracked the morning of the sixth day of the hunt so we packed it in two days early. I still have from November 20th to December 15th to fill my tag in the late season, so I definitely plan on helping the team out.

Well guys, one more evening of targeting elk.. early archery closes tonight...I was 50-60 yards from the herd bull I have hunted this week last night.. he and his cows just missed me where i tucked in to a natural ground blind.. I cant really chase them either since I am filming myself..

Starting Wednesday I have bear season only for 9 days.. till Oct 10 then I will get serious after the whitetails!

    peace/out

busted a herd of elk this afternoon trying to walk into my spot.. GRRRRRRRRRR ....the dirty suckers moved to the my side of the mountain ...I didnt get 100 yards from my dodge ...and BOOM there they were waiting for me.. standing in my grassy skid trail.. I used to get back into were they usually are almost a mile away....then went ahead and hiked out a good 3/4 of a mile to a big ridge and made a quick blind and hunted for whitetails.... saw 3 whitetail bucks from my ground blind one of which walked down the ridge right into range.. 15 yards.. little dink... watched him walk by.. saw one good buck.. 140 class 4x4 70 yards down slope of me.. walked out a little over a mile in the dark.. bumped two more deer and walked back through the elk that I busted up 4 hours earlier.. them buggars were still trying to find each other in that gawd aweful tangle of a mountainside.. cow calling away, I said fugger to myself and walked right through them in the dark.. didnt spook a one... imagine that.. OH well I am targeting bears for 10 days, the whitetails and elk open back up OCT 10.. somethings gonna die.

Well no luck for me today. Didn't see a single deer while on stand. Just a few annoying squirels. Hopefully better luck tomorrow.

Well hopefully I can get out next weekend cause the last two days were a total bust for me. Didn't see a single deer while in the tree's either day. I was able to see tons after getting down and back into the vehicle to leave. Go figure!

Alright I know shed and Washington are out hunting other game for awhile so whitetail won't start for them for a few more weeks. Anyone hear from Bawanajim lately? Hopefully he is getting on some. I will be back at it next weekend. Going to hunt some public near my house though so I am not expecting much. However I have been told by a few friends that this location has some huge deer on it so maybe with any luck.
