    Bassett Neb trip

    Just got back from Bassett Neb. Out of 6 hunters we scored 6 birds. 5 Toms and 1 Jake. I'll get some pics up shortly. Tough Conditions 5" of snow and cold. All in all worked out great.

    Really didn't score em. I was just warming up with the Jake.

    Brooks Johnson with Arrow Affliction shot a 25 lb bird while we were there with a recurve.

    Finally got one with the Strutter. Kinda of fun when things happen like you expected.

    22.2 lbs 9 1/4 beard, and only 3/4 on the spurs. He felt a lot heavier after I got him to the truck from a mile walk in with ALL the gear.

    Spacman way to get us on the board nice bird. I've gone out Sunday evening evening had a decent Tom come in gobbling but he never allowed me a decent shot then he roosted right above me. Monday evening only saw one hen and couldn't get anything to talk to me or come in. Haven't been able to go out in the mornings yet. Will for sure this weekend though.

    Congrats again on a great bird
