Just finished up shooting this morning. I switched to a new single pin floater this year. Here is my average group at 60. Not the best then again I don't plan on ever making a shot at 60. I guess that not to bad for a hunting rig with a .19 pin and a 1/4 peep. I will start slinging broad heads tomorrow morning!

Haha yeah they're not bad! Doing good, just hoping you don't get a deer half as good as last year! Have a couple pretty good ones so far but with a late harvest expected, I'm afraid I wont be getting out much during prime time again like last year.

That's a real downer! Work hard and play hard! Not work hard and not play at all. :( I have a 2-3 good ones lined up. +40" over last years deer is doable. Same plan as last year. Poke one early in KS and then get back up to Nebraska. If it doesn't happen fast I will switch it up and go hunt Nebraska and hit KS again in late October. I am not seeing in favorable weather in the 15 day forecast. My boy might be hunting in triple digits if something doesn't change. :( Youth season is right around the corner.

I hear ya. I hardly ever practice at 60. Maybe that's why I suck so bad at it? I have only been shooting at 60 as of late as that is how you select the right site tape.

Just dropping by to day hello to the team. Been a busy past week so I haven't had the opportunity to shoot. I shot in a 3d shoot last Sunday and shot well, misjudged one distance but other than that I am feeling good. Can't wait for the opener!

I hope everyone is enjoying a good holiday weekend. I wanted to update everyone on where we are with the team:

We still have one member that hasn't checked in. I have sent a PM, and an email to him thru the website forum. Thus far, no response from this team member.

My next step is to contact the admin. of the bowhunting contest early a.m. on Tuesday, September 2nd and request a replacement member to round out our team. (This will fulfill our previously agreed upon deadline of September 1st for checking in.)

Other than that, it's business as usual. Keep on shooting to get sharp for the season, and double check your gear, especially your safety gear, for GO TIME! Enjoy the Holiday everyone.............I'll be in touch!

Thanks for the update Bee! I've been really busy with all kinds of different prep work the last several days. I dropped 5 additional cameras in one field. 3 of the cameras are hung high in plot watch mode. I am going to slay my target buck early! That's my story and I am sticking to it. :p

I wanted to let the team know that this morning, I requested a replacement team member for our one member that didn't check in.

Hopefully, our new member will be along sometime today, and we can give them a big Team #1 welcome!
