For those of you who are fortunate enough to live in a two bird state, wait to post up the score of your bird on the scorecard until you are done hunting for the year or have harvested both of your birds.

I do not believe they will update the scorecard if you already have bird up there.

Heading out to the same spot tomorrow morning, hopefully, they forgot about the massacre the other day. I've had a hard enough time getting one bird the past couple years, so getting another would be awesome. Tennessee allows 4 bearded per season, and I intend on trying to meet that goal.

I'm out this morning. The birds are across the road about a quarter mile and there is a tractor working the field south of me. I have my doubts if anything will come my way today.

I still have to wait until the 29th for my first day of the season but I am looking forward to getting my daughter out for youth day the weekend before!! Good luck to all of you who are hitting the woods already!

Went and set up my blind this weekend and ended up seeing a couple good birds wandering around.

 

Added my bird to the scorecard. We are officially on the board 59.18

 

Well I got some good and bad news today, I got the "clear to close" on my first house which is awesome but, the closing is during my only week to hunt may only have two opportunities to get it done this year.

 

My week is here finally! Closing on my house Wednesday then heading to turkey camp for four days. We have a double beard on cam I am really hoping to catch up with this week.

 

Well, dropped a bigger bird, except I cheated and used a shotgun. Took a friend out trying to get him to get one, I stayed calling and only took shotgun if an opportunity came, and it did. I'll post up my first bird to the scorecard.

 

Good work so far guys! I have my first tag for April 26-30 in Wisconsin, then Kansas May 6-8, and going to end my year May 10-14 up in Wisconsin.

Killed a nice bird this morning with my daughter on youth day!! It is her last year for a youth day hunt so I am very happy for her!! 20lb, 9.5" beard and 1" spurs.

 

Well my season is pretty much over this year but my dad ended up getting a nice tom, 9" beard, 1" spurs, 18 lbs. his first tom so I was pretty happy. Had a few toms strutting 80 yards out this weekend but just couldn't get them to come in for the kill.
