Last year I used the Magnus broadhead and failed...miserably. This year I will be using the good ol' rage head to see if i can take down this double bearded tom we have hanging around. I've only ever harvested one turkey and it was a jake, that was about 6 years ago so I'm due for another.

Howdy all, name is Steve McArthur, hunting middle TN north of Nashville and just below the KY border. Just bought a Mathews Heli-m and absolutely love it. Just finished zeroing my new HHA single pin sight, and that is awesome too. Overall, I believe I am in good form with this new bow. Have not had much time to scout for birds, but I know they are out there.
My season opens April 1, and it can not come fast enough. I work full time, full-time online college (not easy at 33), married with a 15 mo. old son. I stay pretty busy but will try and keep up with the contest/team.
Good luck to all, and lets take that #1 spot.

When does everybody's season start?

April 17th-23rd is the only time I got for myself then taking friends out the month of May to see if I can get them their first bird.

 

Mine starts this weekend and goes through May.

Good news. The guy that lives next to one of my hunting spots has been watching fields for me. Every day between 4:30-dark, he has been seeing a bunch of hens, jakes and 5 toms crossing, and hanging out.
I'm going to hunt a smaller field in the morning and that field in evening on opening day. Fingers crossed, April 1st cannot come fast enough.

 

I know it hasn't been that long but I sent a message to those who haven't checked in so we can confirm our team.

I came close already. Drew back on this bird but he never gave me a shot and instead ran into a youths shotgun blast.



But I should be back out end of season.

Up here in newyork our season starts in May might have to travel and hit the woods soon got the itch to let the arrow fly

 

Sent Crick a message about our three missing guys earlier this week and he decided it's been long enough for our no shows so he is going to send new team mates this afternoon.
