Yep.......it’s the reason 3 of my great places have evaporated. Shed hunting has gotten very popular and people don’t care where they walk to find them. I’m not sure if people are selling them (I’d bet they are) or what they are doing with them but I’d sure like to catch them. I’m about done I think.
200 sheds would be an awesome feat to accomplish and you are so close. keep at it. great job! pm me an address and i'll send leo some of his favorite treats.
After working all summer and fall on our antler dog we have finally decided it is worth having someone else train him. He is doing awesome, but our boys take priority and they are busy!! Hockey is another job, and they both play. We'll see how it goes for next year!! Great job Leo!!!
Sorry guys haven't been on much been out a few times still only 2 so far I'm still trying will be out again this weekend hope I can help some more Sent from my SM-G955U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I too have only been out a few times. this snow came back and hasn't left. hoping next week it'll be gone. still waiting to get to my good spots.
I wouldn't doubt that boonerville will still be in hot pursuit. last year at the end it was very close.
Couple I have been looking for have showed up. I'm so sick of walking and my dog is sore I think. I'm at 422.4 miles on the Garmin plus whatever I have driven and Leo has walked or ran. The shear amount of miles we have covered is incredible. I can't believe we have not found more. Total=188.
Ended up with 5 yesterday. The one on the left is the first one earlier in day pictured on front of Ranger. The 4 were found in a 10 acre area of CRP. We walked some steep, slippery and rough terrain yesterday only to find the sheds outside the bedding areas. Taking the day off today. Total = 192. Back to Iowa mid week if the walleyes are not biting.
looks like the snow will be off in a couple more days. then it's go time. can't wait to get in to my good spots.
Headed to IA in the morning for our final real look for bone. 195 is my record from last year. We will try for 200 and see what happens. The walleyes have been slow but the quality has been good. Bass fishing is right around the corner also. And then there is my daughters high school graduation. UGH! So much to do this time of year!
Good luck on the 200 I'll be back out in the morning hopefully I can find something the walleye run is starting here were a few weeks off of bass fishing yet Sent from my SM-G955U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
