It is very hard to stay home after work these days so I checked a couple cameras close to home. The nicest deer on our lease are still holding on but it would appear the antlers are dropping off some. What is so interesting is it seems each year the smaller bucks loose theirs first and this year is no different.
5 more the past couple days brings my total to 69. These 5 were without Leo too. The 8 point set I measured at 151 1/2" given a 20" spred. That is a big 8! A buddy of mine holding them.
I just added a pic to the post from yesterday of a buddy holding them. This weekend will be good if we don't get more snow. Expecting 1 to 3" tonight.
Went and pulled all the cameras from my lease yesterday. We got 4 inches of snow the night before which didn't help with looking for sheds. Pics show some still carrying but I'm going to have to wait to look there until the snow melts some.
A few pictures of a few of the latest finds. The shed Leo has in his mouth is a big spike. We jump a big group of deer today and when they got across the valley I was amazed to see the amount of bucks with both sides. It has not been the best weekend but with the latest 11 our total is now 80!
Our youngest is now done with his hockey games. Our oldest plays until the end of this month. I'll be able to spend some time shed hunting.
soo...it's gonna be dbl lung versus all next year right? That would be more competitive for him lol. I'm just jealous. Really jealous. Great job!
ahem excuse me.....i'll have you know that he is not the only one on this team to contribute so far! jk! We should probably name it "Dbl Lung and Friends"
