ok. i'll probably wait until guys start posting more fresh sheds before I go.

 

I'm not seeing any signs of dropping around here. I know my buddies up in IA are starting to see some fresh ones.

 

Heading out tomorrow in West Central Iowa. Plan on doing an all day shed hunt as it's about 2 hours away from where I live. Main goal is to find the buck I hit with my bow back in early November. Any advice for me?

 

I have a lot of bucks carrying both sides yet. I was not look hard for another couple weeks. If we get snow then it will be a little longer.

 

Hey Garet, are you going to the Iowa Classic?

 

Check the cameras. Do you know if he died?

 

When and where is the Iowa Classic? And no i dont know if it died or not. Had cameras up for a month after and he never showed up. No cameras up now but with the amount of blood he lost and hitting one lung at least I feel there is a strong chance he died somewhere.

 

It is March 2nd-4th at the Hy-Vee arena in Des Moines. Hopefully you find him.

 

Not sure if I'll be making that or not. You never know. I've got a lot of ground to cover tomorrow so we shall see.

I'm going to check out some public ground after work today for sheds. I've got the fever for it bad this year.

 

I'm going to pull cams and stands tomorrow. might check a few spots on the way in. not to much yet.

 

Not a thing last night. Driving south now. Word is the bucks are still holding. I’ll have to see for myself.

we'll take it! got out today briefly. nothing! did see a couple of shed bucks on cam though. i'll get more serious in a couple of weeks.

 

also found this guy today. Found close to the road so I think he might have been hit.

All together I only found the one shed. Still half of my total from last year though!

 

I’ll just let you guys in on this. A lot have fallen off around me in the last week and my dog is finding them. We have put 52 miles on so far.
