I'm not sure on the formal rules. Thought I read somewhere that it technically starts in October? Not sure.
I would count them. maybe everyone should check in so we are all accounted for. if someone on our team dropped out can he be replaced? it was close last year so we might need all hands on deck to repeat.
Taken right from #1 rule........ 1. Any shed off any animal between the dates of October 1st, 2016 and May 1st, 2017 shall count for this contest. This includes Mule deer, Elk, Whitetail etc. (We've lenghtened the season toinclude those that may have found a shed already to increase competition amongst teams.) From 2016 so we shall see.....
As cold as it is here in ohio they may be dropping a lot sooner it's -11 right now without a wind chill may be finding sheds in begin of February
Welp I went out yesterday for a couple hours and found 2 dead deer and multiple coyote signs including the biggest yote ive ever seen. He barely beat my draw with the .45 Needless to say I need to do some coyote management. No sheds found
Doubt it. Ill start off this way. Once my dog gets going its hard to get pics of all of them outside a group.
