this snow is killing me!!!!! I will continue to work seven days a week then take some significant time off to look when the snow melts. cabin fever setting in.
Saturdays find consisted of an 8 pt side. It is a shed from last year (2015). As for the buck he disappeared after gun season last year. But he obviously made it to dropping his antlers. No pics during the 2016 season This morning I went a found 3 more. Im now at 73. Ill be in IA Wednesday trying to catch up. I can't do it with out your help tho. Don't give up!
don't get too confident mnmoose. we are still buried in snow here in PA. once the snow goes off we will finally get to go out and look.
Dont worry, I realize it is only march and you guys are hot on our trail, which is why I came over to try and derail your team!
I'm going to have to start looking in "un-normal" places. I've looked in all of the ones that I've always found sheds in with no luck at all....................................This makes the exercise seem like work.
looks like all of the snow will be gone by Friday. most places the snow melted today. I can actually start hitting some low elevation spots starting tomorrow.
3 more little ones yesterday. Headed to IA now. The farmer who leases the farmland hires a guy from Southern IA to find all the sheds. He was there already 4 weeks ago. Im not sure what he found but he goes there every year. I've only been on this farm once.
23 sheds and the giant dead 8 ptr today. My shed count is now at 99 thanks to IA and Leo. My new goal 125 sheds. I'm shattering my old record of 61; may more the double it. The 8 ptr is 165 1/8".
finally got out this afternoon. found tons of sign but still haven't found any. unbelievable! I'm just getting started so we will see.
I want to hate so bad... just cant! Great work Sent from my SM-N920P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I rode the atv for much of the day today but walked 5.26 miles also. Thank god for motors cause this new farm is rough CRP with some wood valleys in the middle. I gave the sheds to the landowner. He couldn't believe I found as many as I did.
