We are officially on the board!

I'm a little jealous right now that you got to go out and hunt already. I got the itch really bad right now!

Been dreaming bout that for a couple weeks now. She came in silent I was watching another doe when I caught her 20 yds from my stand I didn't have a shot so I let walk then her she is 7 yds broadside right in front of my stand I drew she turned and give me the tail @ this point I've been @ full draw 3 min and she is walking on my trail I think she caught my scent turn broadside for a spilt second ....thawk she hit the ground got up and rain 40 yds into a ditch ....that was fun!!! She had been shot last year aswell [IMG][IMG]

First time trying ramcat broadheads I am I fan.

    Tip of the day:

    Think you packed enough water?
Pack 2 more bottles to be sure. I got 3 prime time hours left and I am dying of thirst.

Any word on your area that your hunting have any affects of the Blue Tongue? I knew you said you heard it was hitting close bye. Just wondering!

Hey I see your using Ramcat broadheads,I just got mine and am sighting them in tomorrow. How were they flying compared to your fieldpoints and are they as sharp as the say they are? Congrats on the doe, I'll be trying mine out next weekend on Elk.

    Rocky,
Mine were pretty much spot on with my fieldpoints. The sharpness is decent I'd say you could prolly sharpen them a little more. Your also only gonna one deer with the blades they get chewed up pretty good. Other then that I am very impressed with there performance huge hole and blood spray everywhere!

I went out for two hours in the rain on Saturday afternoon. The deer were bedded down hard as it was horrible weather. I won't be able to get out again until next Saturday afternoon. With three kids in multiple sports these days, Sept/Oct can be pretty tough during certain stretches. I work Mon-Fri this week so no hunting. :(

Bought a dozen arrows today and the bow is tuned. KILL!

Again, best of luck to you in the morning, I have a good feeling. Enjoy your day in the woods brother.
