Unfortunately didnt put any points on the board for the team. But we had a good opening weekend of gun hunting in Wisconsin, that I will certainly never forget. I harvested two bucks and so didnt my dad, along with the help of my mom and brother.

Been missing in action. Had a couple of close encounters with two decent bucks, but no clean shot.

Congrats Indy and Steve on harvesting nice bucks! Way to go!

Gun hunters haven't scored on the lease yet, but spotted good bucks. Back out again the weekend after next. Hard hunting my friends; 2.5 hours drive each way. Leave at 0230 and get home around 2100...gotta get some points.

Keep at it guys! I'm still seeing good movement while hunting.

Be careful too, the orange army is out in full force in my area.

I'm still going out. I have an urban buck tag in my pocket and a doe tag also. Gun season is in full affect right now. The rut is coming to an end here. I haven't seen rutting activity in the past week. Its suppose to be almost 60 here this weekend. :(

My plan is to fill my doe tag this weekend hopefully and then wait for the late season to try and get a second buck. Wait for it to get really cold and for most the other hunters to retreat into their warm homes. Thats when I'll be out!

We can still win this thing guys. A doe and almost any buck puts us right there. Or if any of you prefer to put a slammer down that would work too! Good luck guys, there is still plenty of hunting ahead of us.

This guy is my #1 and was still alive last time I checked my camera. I will obviously be hunting him if he doesnt stay nocturnal, but they usually do after the the heavy pressure of the Wisconsin gun season. Its just like any other state im sure, the hunting will be a lot harder from here on out. I'm sure none of us are giving up, but I would probably settle for a nice 2 year old during late season bow. If the contest is still close towards the end of the year I know that I could get a doe too. Good luck to everyone that still has tags to fill and keep hunting hard. I know a lot of hit list bucks of mine are still alive, its just a matter of seeing them during daylight now.
