They are still wearing head gear in Mass hopefully they start dropping this weekend it's -4 with the wind chill!!!!
I found a small matched set on Sunday. A lot of bucks are still holding here, but I did see a giant while I was out. I also found some huge rubs too. They were pretty far off the ground.
MN....THAT LAST RUB IS RIDICULOUS!!! Love to meet it's maker...after it shakes hands with my broadhead of course! :D

The warm weather aint helpin as they aint stressed as bad! seen two more holding racks yesterday behind my place. One was a stud! they were next to a 8 acre wood patch that I walked last week,,,go figure1
Well countless hours walking...still nothing here fellas. Everything is still holding here in Northern IN as well crick. Just play the waiting game I guess. Will be walking again this weekend.
Even our rut was weird this year it just trickeled, temps were warm, never really got a nw wind til now, just weird.
Game on. They have finally dropped at my place. Just pulled my chips and the last set of antlers was on the 12th. Bad news is that I will be tied up this entire weekend and won't get a chance to get out and find them. I'll be gutting and remodeling my parents bathroom instead. Hope they will still be there next weekend.
Good luck to you guys that are getting out there this weekend. I will be heading north so I wont be out searching. I did a speed walk when I checked my cameras yesterday, I was able to find 1 dead deer and 1 shed. I truely didnt think I would stumble on a shed with the time I had. It is a small 4 pt side. I will take it. Finding that shed makes me start to think that some of these bucks in my area are really starting to shed. Really wish I had more time yesterday. Loved the conditions, 40 degrees, cloudy, the ground was wet and dark. The shed stuck out like a sore thumb. I will post a picture later on.
