Got 4 does out in the field long ways off.. Beautiful morning. God's smiling on me this am.. Hanging on a tree in his creation! Don't get any better
you win. Im sitting in my office eating some animal crackers waiting for a webinar that was supposed to have already started to get going. On the bright side I do have my shoes off and the space heater cranking out some warmth.
Alright my deer has been submitted. Alittle bigger than I thought it was. Was hoping to break 100. Sent from my SM-S205DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Was on my way home from hunting yesterday and saw one of my big bucks I've been getting on camera dead along side the river road that runs along my lease. Such a shame! I think it was the big bodied 8. By the time i got the trailer turned around to check after I passed him. Someone was already cutting it's head off.
Tomorrow morning’s plan. Red is deer movement, blue is my access through about a 5’ wide x 30’ deep ravine. Steep little crack that I can climb straight up out of into my stand. It’s supposed to rain on and off and then we close on the house at 4pm so no afternoon hunt This is where I killed my buck last year, same day and same wind. He came in using the trail from the North, but my access was different with the corn being in last year. These fields have been picked but there is still a lot of corn and beans in the one mile East and one mile West. I don’t think it’s so much a primary food source this time of year, more so provides a lot of cover.
i honestly dont think I've ever been on a team that even had a good showing in the standings. Gentlemen I think this is the year that changes!
I hope to be in a tree this weekend for a bit. We got home from hospital yesterday and want to get settled in first. Don’t count me out for some points.
Question about the contest. Do I have to enter the buck I shot last night or can I wait and see if I kill something bigger in Ohio? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
1 st buck is what the rules say Jim, So yes you have to enter it. From Rules page "Each participant is allowed to enter ONE antlered deer as their “Buck Score”. This must be the FIRST antlered deer that you harvest during the season. "
@NebMo Hunter - First, let me apologize for not catching this myself when you entered your score on your buck. It was, however, brought to my attention by someone else. First, your score breakdown was done to the nearest 1/4". It must be done to the nearest 1/8". I believe you said your taxidermist did the scoring. I'm kind of puzzled since he did list the inside spread measured to the nearest 1/8". Second, the total I came up with after running the totals measured to the nearest 1/4 as listed through a calculator three times is 150 1/8". I'm going to have to ask you to have your buck re-scored with the measurements taken to the nearest 1/8". Until I get this new score breakdown your buck score has been removed from your team total. I'm posting this in your team thread instead of sending a PM because I'm sure your teammates will wonder why the team total suddenly dropped.
