made it to cabin around 11pm, got small fire going relaxing in the lazy boy and planning out my morning.
weather shows 40 degrees, 1 mph wind out of the north, I know exactly what stand Im headed to! Buck with extra tine is in trouble!

 

Up and having coffee... Be after them in a couple hours...

well its my biggest buck Ive taken. dont know he'll scire and not overly worried about it, when I saw him compared to the little 8 point i knew I was going to try to take him.
Got pictures of him on trail camera running after shot and my out of shape rear dragging him back, Ill get some proper pictures and measurement later today

conflicted, super happy about this buck but this was my first sit of the year and the Mrs wont be so willing to let me slip away. In Missouri I can shoot another buck after gun season. so late season it is

I’ll be heading into the woods about 4pm. Leaning towards the food plot stand which is about 70 yards from my camera. I don’t really have time to do a hang and hunt and the wind isn’t working out for any other stand.
