i saw the same lil spike at the last minute last night. I had to put the bino's on him to make sure it wasn't a doe. this time he was 18 yards. not legal for either tag i have. PT restriction (3 pts not counting the brow PT) for the buck tag. and the antlerless tag his spikes were more than the 3 in limit. hopefully in 2 more years he'll be around.
Thx, but not today thou, headed to Pittsburgh here in a little while, my wife is in a wedding. but i'll be out on Monday morning.. temp are dropping even more on Monday than Sat and today.. Monday should be a good day, i'm the only hunter on the property where i hunt. the neighboring property only gets hunters during the firearms season.

not sure I have a 437 inch deer walking around so looks like we all need to get some deer on the ground.
have had a bit of a buck drought on camera recently, finally someone showed up on camera, note the 41 degrees!
Sucks being so busy moving right now, but I know hunting now isn’t conducive to killing a decent buck on the property I hunt. But I definitely don’t deserve to be taunted like this .
I’m using text to talk so if that’s goofy I’m sorry I’m in the stand I called the front it’s actually the front of where the wood start there’s about 40 acres of corn out in front of me I’ve had some luck here throughout the years my son decided to go to homecoming with a girl and not hunting with dad so I am solo tonight my stand is making so much noise because it’s too close to the tree I’m in with the three prong tree it’s hitting the sides the wind dies down but thankfully it’s windy enough right now and noisy enough I might get away with it we’ll find out.
Just got back to the house. Saw on little 6 point tonight and the SIL saw a pie bald . It is either a small buck or a doe. Hope to get it on camera soon! Speaking of cameras. Just did a photo dump and it looked good. Be back after them in the morning!
