Cleaned my carry bag out two weekends ago... Those snickers at the bottom were really thin, but ate okay all the same!

Must be a trend. I found a completely smashed rice crispy treat in my center console yesterday

Well, the water we drink is nearly 5 billion years so….. maybe run it through a filter first lol. I’d end up getting Giardia

Haha. Supposed to rain here on saturday so sunday morning I'm going to slip out. I have some standing corn next to a piece of public that I will set up in. My private ground hasnt had any mature bucks show up yet. I'm going to stick to public till something pops up.

Guy in the back showed up last night. He came with 2 little bucks that haven't been around. Looks like they r finally shifting in my area. He's not a giant but good enough for me. Screenshot_20210930-222832_Gmail.jpeg

Brother just called me and told me he killed a big nanny doe this morning out of the shooting house I built at the farm last year. He said it hunts real nice!

Guess hunting it this weekend in the rain might be a good idea after all.

Plan for tonight. Hunting back off the field in what I believe to be a staging area. I have no hard proof besides previous years sign. SE wind may have deer bedding on the north green spot. Blue is kinda how the trails lay out. If this stand doesn’t produce today, I’ll give it another try later in October, but I think it’s going to be pretty good come November. I don’t really have any expectations, but seeing deer would be nice. It’s Friday so a doe is going to be hard to pass since I don’t have to be up at 5am. 0DF3CF7F-AD6F-4A3A-B4B4-7F6D13F254CA.jpeg

This guy showed up today, the day before season opens. Happened last year also and didn't see another buck til closer to Halloween.

Looks like he was rubbing some trees
