Howdy hey all Nebmo checking in. From Omaha Nebraska but primarily hunt NW Missouri on private land. last season was tough, had just added 13 additional acres of hard woods, trying to figure that out early, got covid, and had a young baby. Ended up skunked for the first time ever. I had deer in range while hunting, we have an antler restriction in place in the county and tired of shooting small 8s so passed. our trail cameras early showed some good signs but those buck pictures have slowed down the last couple weeks
My name is Tony and I live and hunt in Southern Indiana. The counties I normally hunt is Bartholomew, and Jackson. I have a lease in Bartholomew that I have had for the past 6 years. Its 220 acres of river bottom AG fields with timber strips. Last year I was lucky enough to take my personal best buck to date from it. I know I have 2 other bucks on the lease that will be my targets for this year. I also have the family farm in Jackson County that is another 300 acres.
My name is Greg Dow. Im from Indiana and hunt Morgan and Monroe counties. I have a problem with killing 2.5 year old bucks but hopefully with some intervention and therapy I’ll bump that age up to 3.5+ this year. My parents have 16 acres, and across the road my cousin owns 80. It’s a mix of ag and timber across the road. I never have any bucks on camera up there until mid October. Some years, I can glass a buck or two in the beans, but this year has not produced. Have no fear, last year was my first year for a food plot, and camera intel seems to show it will pay off. Here are some bucks from last year, that I would love to see this year. And last years buck Can’t wait to get to know everyone and put some deer on the ground!
couple pics, no resident monsters but some good deer. I have 2 spypoints out so i get them on my phone, we have several other cameras out but dont have access to those pictures now
My name is Jim Owens, glad to meet you guys. I'm probably older than all of you but I still have a passion for this. I hunt 150 private acres here in Indiana. I also have a farm in Ohio that is about 300 acres that I hunt every year. I look forward to what y'all kill this year and getting to know you guys. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Hi my name is Ryan I hunt family land all around me here in northwest ohio but by deer live in Indiana since I’m only half mile from state line lol. Look forward to a fun season. Here’s my buck from last year. I do some filming and run a web page whitetailjunkys.com. I will have my second daughter November 15 so hope to tag out early or I will be a late season guy. I have my eye on a few potential shooters this year. Can’t wait for the fun to begin!
have a couple more minutes here at work to update. my inlaws own 25ish acres of timber surrounded by tillable in NW Missouri. Land has a cabin so makes deer camp pretty comfortable. Ive got 4 kids from 7 down to 1 so it makes longer stays at cabin harder however its only 105 miles so it isnt too hard to make the trip several times of needed. I shoot a 2014 Bowtech Carbon Knight (which i no longer like) 29.5 draw 64 pounds, 509 gr arrow. I also have a crossbow that ill take to the stand whenever I feel so inclined. Lived in Nebraska about all my life except acouple years for college where I spent time in VA and SW Missouri. I used to be a paramedic moved into the insurance world. Up until June I was Sr Casualty claims adjuster but then moved into a roll supervising some of the back end stuff for a different insurance company. I also try to fish and specifically ice fish as much as possible
Just got some rain finally. I put my plots of 50/50 winter wheat and oats in Friday so pretty excited for a decent rain. The stage is set. I have two spare lock ons and a ladder stand to put up once I get some in season scouting done. My wife and I are selling our house soon and living in a camper, so I shouldn’t have any house work this fall if every thing goes well.
