So I am probably jinxing myself by posting this, but I am really hoping to get a wall hanger this year, and I have alot more hunting land and opportunity this year than before. So if I do connect this season, I figure I should know ahead of time what I am going to do. A few questions: -Does anyone have a highly recommended taxidermist in the Northern VA area? -Do you cape the deer yourself, or let the taxidermist do it? If the taxidermist does it, how do you get the meat? I have skinned a deer before but I'm not a pro at trying to make the cape look pretty.
