Some can get them done in a couple months. Most seem to be about a year in this area. One of the best ones in my area is around 2 year's. Which seems crazy, but to most people its worth the wait for him.

It varies with every Taxidermist I’ve ever gone to. It all depends on how many they take each year, and how early in the season you bring yours. November they’ve already taken quite a few animals in.

I’ve had them done within a matter of three months or take up to a year and three months.

Around hear its usually a year to a year and a half. There is one taxidermist by me that is does outstanding work but he was a little over 2 years out on deer and turkeys. Plus his prices are crazy. Think $1,200 for a turkey without limb/base. He went to Hazel creek taxidermy world class and now he charges a lot which his work is crazy good but I'll pass lol.

Just got the text from the taxidermist the other day. He’s the widest buck I’ve shot at 19 5/8” inside.

A have a bunch of deer mounts but this is the best one. I have two bucks at the taxi now from the 24 and 23 seasons that are about the same size. Should get the 23 buck back soon.

Yeah, this guy did a really good job. Much better than the other guy I took my last buck to.

Taxidermist sent me a pic my 2022 buck is ready. Usually has a 4 year lead time, but the wait is always worth it. First time getting a plaque mount, almost went semi sneak but felt upright full surprise did him better. Chose right thankfully
